A 3-day Vacation in Scotland
A 3-day Vacation in Scotland
Dear Travel Agony Aunt, I’m planning for a 6 days visit to UK, with my family (3 of us altogether) some time in the month of September this year. I’m thinking of spending 3 days visiting places in London and the remaining three days in Scotland. Would you please give advice on the places to visit  Read More →
Worst UK airports and tourism rants
It has been a while since the last podcast, but today, I took the opportunity of a bank holiday weekend, to record a new episode. I rant about the Florida gulf coast “disaster” and ask for your opinion on the UK’s worst airports, plus news of this year’s Travel BlogCamp. Apartments abroad and Resort taxis ceased trading
I have just heard that accommodation only company Apartments abroad has today ceased trading. Privacy poliicy exempt in administration When a company...

Travellers still being ripped off with roaming charges
Travellers still being ripped off with roaming charges
It is all well and good owning a mobile phone with GPS, tons of travel apps, but when it costs you £3 – £5 per MB to use the internet abroad, it becomes expensive very quickly. Last week I used my phone in-flight, while jaunting around New York and I have arrived home to a £60 bill for roaming charges. Networks making a fortune from roaming...
