For some reason the Basque city of Bilbao , on Spain’s northern coast, has remained fairly unspoiled and largely unvisited by tourists. The world all flock to Barcelona and Madrid but Bilbao is saved for the people in the know.Those who are after something a little different. For many years it was a geographical melting pot, with a thick and muddy Ría de Bilbao flowing right through it, and the towering Vizcaya hills creating a shadow.

In this case, the Empire State Development Corporation has designated the thriving area as blighted to facilitate the taking of privately owned houses and businesses without having to pay full market value. Ratner, whose partners in the venture include rapper Jay Z and the Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, stands to pocket hundreds of millions of dollars on the deal, all thanks to the brute force of the state. This week, a Brooklyn Supreme Court ruling tossed out the eminent domain objections of residents and property owners who had held out for six years and Ratner plans to break ground on the site on March 11, if not before. el partido imposible: Athletic club...simplemente imposible OK this was called "The impossible match" it was 200 fids vs a professional soccer team. This was supposed to be a match in honor to one of the footballers from the professional team, Joseba Etxeberria, who was quitting football. The money raised out of this, was sent to a charity in Africa. This wasn't supposed to be a competition, but a chance for 200 lucky kids fom Bilbao to have the chance to share the field with their idols, the Players of the Athletic Club de Bilbao. The final score was Athletic 5 Fundazioa (kids) 3. Both of them were "Athletic" the difference is that one of them (fundazioa, kids), was the "Future Athletic", those who probably, in an outcoming future will be playing in San Mames, defendig the shirt they all have always been supporing and wich that day,they had the chance to wear.
